From May 17th to 21st, the advanced training courses for non-government forensic experts were held under the program "Examination of video recordings of traffic accidents with the purpose of establishing the dimentional and timing characteristics of objects». The courses were attended by 16 forensic experts including two state forensic experts of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and 14 non-governmental forensic experts from various regions of Russia, who had an expert practice in the field of examination of video recordings of traffic accidents circumstances.

The training was conducted in personal attendance form. Most of the courses time was devoted to case training including calculations of traffic parameters, important for the investigation of the accident circumstances, basing on real video recordings from stationary and mobile recording devices. The participants of the advanced training courses expressed their gratitude to the organizers and teachers for the high level of organisation, as well as for relevant and highly topical training program.


From May 11th to May 21st, the unscheduled advanced training courses were held under the program "Methodology of psychological and linguistic examination of video materials of procedural actions with the purpose of establishing the external influence on the content of testimony" (expert specialties 20.2 "Psychological examination of information materials", 26.1 "Examination of speech activity products"). The courses were attended by 10 state forensic experts of Moscow State Budgetary Institution "Moscow Research Center". The training was conducted in personal attendance form. The attendees were trained in the application of a new method of psychological and linguistic examination of video materials of procedural actions (Affecting the testimony content; authors: Gagina O.V., Kuznetsov V.O.; published by the FBE RFCFS of the Ministry of Justice of Russia in 2020) and reviewed the expert practice on this topic.

From April 5th to 09th, the advanced training courses for state forensic experts of the FIs system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation were held under the program "Application of the quantitative method of examination of short and simple signatures" (expert specialty 1.1 "Handwriting and Signatures Examination"). The courses were conducted in personal attendance form in accordance with the plan of advanced training courses for state forensic experts of federal budgetary forensic institutions of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for 2021. The courses were attended by 17 state forensic experts of the FIs system of the Russian Ministry of Justice. According to the course program, the trainees measured the a priori information content of signatures, and the «OKO-1» program was studied in practice. The audience learned to apply an integrated approach to the examination of short and simple signatures in expert practice.


From March 22 to 26, 2021 and from April 19 to 23, 2021, advanced training courses were held for state forensic experts of the FI system of the Ministry of Justice of Russia under the program "Comprehensive examination of information materials on cases related to extremism and terrorism". The courses were conducted in accordance with the plan of advanced training courses for 2021 in the form of personal attendance and joint training of experts in linguistics and psychology. The courses were attended by 26 state forensic experts. The training program was oriented at expanding professional competencies in production of complex psychological and linguistic examinations in cases related to counteracting of extremism and terrorism.
